A rally in support of the European course announced by the President of Georgia will be held in Tbilisi. Citizens will gather at Europe Square today, at 19:00.

The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili called for the rally at a briefing on June 14. He called on citizens to gather in Rike to "see each other and show Europe our head, our unity."

"It will be a society, a population standing together, where everyone will be an ordinary citizen. Me, you and members of any political party, or government officials, but everyone will come as an ordinary citizen, there will be no words, no announcements, no posters, if anyone should be able to sing, the rest will be just standing, we want for our children, the future "Europe for a generation," Salome Zurabishvili said at a briefing on June 14.

At the same time, Salome Zurabishvili called on the EU Ambassador and the Ambassadors of the EU member states to join the June 16 event. He also addressed the organizers of the June 20 rally, noting that "if they think about it, this speech may be postponed."

According to reports at the moment, the rally will be joined by the heads of several diplomatic missions, including the ambassadors of Germany and France.
